• In collaboration with the HR Training Coordinator and other staff as appropriate:
o Develops, organizes, plans, and presents portions of New Hire Orientation, onboarding, and skills training. (E)
o Creates, maintains, and/or curates procedure manuals, guides, and training materials. (E)
o Promotes available training opportunities to employees. (E)
o Maintains the learning management system as well as the HR training portion of the Library System’s intranet. (E)
o Assists in the coordination and facilitation of the Library System’s annual training day for staff and other special projects/programs. (E)
• Presents training and/or instruction in several formats including in person, in writing, online, and in video. (E)
• Maintains knowledge of latest trends in training and development. (E)
• Supports and mentors new employees during their onboarding. (E)
• Enters and maintains employee profile information and tracks staff training statistics. (E)

MINIMUM TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Required:
• Two years of college-level work from an accredited college or university.
• One to two years of experience in training & development, recruitment & onboarding, teaching, or instruction.
• Recent experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products at an intermediate level.
• Other combinations of experience, education, and training may be considered.
Preferred:
• Experience working in a library or formal learning environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products at an advanced level.
• Experience with technical writing.
• Experience with learning management system administration.
• Experience with basic HTML and/or CSS.
• Experience with Camtasia or similar video editing software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
