The EA will be responsible for managing complex scheduling and travel planning; generating written correspondence and public statements for internal and external groups, including media outlets, to be finalized by the Vice Dean; researching and collecting information for presentations with various stakeholders, including senior administrators, the Council of Academic Diversity Officers, CAS Board of Visitors, and/or USC Board of Trustees; supporting the organization of hiring activities; conducting data analysis and extraction; and supporting Vice Dean Initiatives. The EA will also provide administrative support for the office’s daily operations. Specifically, the EA will manage logistics for virtual and in-person meetings for CAS-ODEI; support the planning and execution for signature CAS-ODEI events and manage the CAS-ODEI website, making minor edits as needed, in partnership with the CAS Communications Office. The EA will work closely with the CAS Budget Office to manage financial transactions for CAS-ODEI and assist the Vice Dean in maintaining accurate financial records for an annual operating budget. The EA will be considered a trusted advisor and partner to the Vice Dean for DEI.
