Position Summary

The Bellman/Valet is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for guests by providing courteous assistance with luggage, valet parking, and transportation needs. This role requires a service-oriented individual who anticipates guest needs, ensures safe handling of vehicles, and upholds the standards of the Westin Poinsett Greenville.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Luggage Assistance

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival and departure.

  • Assist with luggage, packages, and personal items; deliver promptly to guest rooms.

  • Provide directions, recommendations, and general information about the hotel and local area.

  • Escort guests to rooms and explain hotel amenities, services, and features.

Valet Parking & Vehicle Handling

  • Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles, following hotel and insurance guidelines.

  • Maintain a professional, careful approach when driving and handling vehicles of all types.
