Debbra possesses a keen sense of organization and ability to lead a wide variety of teams and groups with professionalism and warmth. As Operations and Network Manager for Hispanic Alliance, she is responsible for fostering the connectivity and growth of a collaborative group of individuals and organizations that is currently over 1,600 strong.  

With over 7 years of experience managing sales teams and working with customers, she has learned to cultivate a strong voice and analytical skills to solve problems. She oversees the operations of the Hispanic Alliance’s Board of Directors, its four Community Teams, Student DREAMers Alliance, and community outreach activities, as well as effectively integrating the capacity of the AmeriCorps VISTA, Furman Fellows, and seasonal Internship staff.

Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, she moved to the mainland U.S. in 2007, while maintaining strong ties with her island heritage and family. She completed a B.A. in Communications at USC Upstate, beginning her community engagement as an active member of Hispanic Alliance’s sister network in Spartanburg, where she continues to serve as a liaison for the Greenville Network.

Her deep concern for youth is evident in her choice of work and volunteer activities. As a former U.S. Soccer Federation certified coach and referee with Carolina Elite Soccer Academy, she has led many teams of youth to develop discipline, courage, and self-esteem. She is actively involved in the Greenville Chamber’s Young Professionals, and Hispanic Business Council, and is a graduate of Opportunity Greenville. She is a member of AHAM (Hispanic-American Women’s Association) dedicated to funding competitive scholarships for aspiring college student of Hispanic descent heritage. 

Debbra lives by the values of teamwork, dedication, and excellence in execution, as she pursues empowerment and equity for her Upstate community.
