Grateful for You, Our Family, Our Network
Reflect with us on the incredible journey of 2023
Each one of you, vital and integral members of our family, has played a crucial role in making this year one of achievement, growth, and collaboration. In May, we came together to celebrate culture and community at La Fiesta. Your enthusiasm and participation turned this event into a resounding success.
The first HEAL Board stands as a testament to our collective commitment to health equity. This milestone would not have been possible without your dedication to creating a more inclusive healthcare landscape. Collaborating with Bon Secours and Clemson University, we delved into an inclusive Hispanic Health study that will undoubtedly shape the future of healthcare accessibility for the Hispanic community.
In September, our Citizenship Workshop empowered individuals on their path to becoming citizens. Your support ensured that dreams of belonging and contributing to this nation could be realized. As the rhythm of Más Salsa filled the air during Hispanic Heritage Month, we collectively celebrated the richness of our culture. Your presence and engagement during these festivities truly made them special.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we express our deepest gratitude to each of you. Your time, dedication, and collaborative spirit have been the driving force behind our mission. Without you, the journey toward a more inclusive South Carolina wouldn’t be possible.
Together, we’ve achieved much, and as we enter this season of gratitude, we eagerly anticipate the continued impact we will create together in the weeks and months ahead. We hope you will be able to join us on December 13 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM at JudHub for our Holiday Drop-In! It will be our last opportunity to gather before the break for the Holiday Season – use the link below to register!

The Student DREAMers Alliance is more than a program; it’s a transformative odyssey for Hispanic/Latinx high school juniors and seniors. Inspired by the Aspen Institute and Liberty Fellowship, SDA shapes the next generation of Hispanic leaders. This year brings new initiatives, including a 1:1 mentoring component and expanded internship opportunities, thanks to the unwavering support of the United Way.
