Marcos Perez is a recent graduate of Clemson University, where he earned a degree in Marketing and developed a deep passion for uplifting the Hispanic community through service, leadership, and authentic connection. As a student, Marcos was an active member of Latinos Unidos, helping to foster community and visibility for Hispanic students on campus. He also served as a volunteer with Molina Healthcare, gaining hands-on experience supporting families and underserved populations across the Upstate.
Originally from Greenville, Marcos worked in manufacturing while completing his degree—an experience that shaped his strong work ethic and grounded his commitment to opportunity and equity. For Marcos, joining the Hispanic Alliance is more than a job—it is a full-circle moment with an organization that has impacted his life since childhood. He brings energy, creativity, and a personal understanding of the barriers that many in the community face, especially as immigrants and first-generation Americans.
Marcos believes in the power of collective action and hopes to play a meaningful role in the organization’s mission to build a more inclusive and empowered South Carolina. Through his role as Program Coordinator, he is excited to listen, learn, and contribute to work that truly matters.
