A Note of Gratitude for Collective Impact

From Our Executive Director, Adela Mendoza
The Hispanic Alliance was created by volunteers, and for over a decade, it is volunteers who bring our mission to life through selfless service to our community. Last year we had the best Fiesta, and we were not entirely sure weโ€™d be able to top that experience. However, thanks to the vision of incredible volunteers, this yearโ€™s La Fiesta was even better!
Please join me in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to our rockstar event chair: Melissa Hernandez.
It has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to work closely with her and watch her vision come to life. Her infectious enthusiasm and positive leadership played a huge role in making La Fiesta a success. Of course, every good leader receives vital support from their team, and our entire La Fiesta planning committee deserves our immense gratitude & recognition.
We are grateful to Felicia Baca, Yadira Nuรฑez, Sara Montero-Buria, & of course, the Artistic Director of our Collaborative Arts Exhibition - Nathalie Morgan.

It is truly a privilege to pause for a moment and take the time to reflect on the incredible community that we are a part of, and to acknowledge the people who are the hands and the hearts behind positive change. Our work depends upon community support & generosity.

At La Fiesta, on May 5, we were extremely honored to present our annual awards to those who exemplify the core values of our organization: passion, trust, integrity, collaboration, inclusion & innovation. All 2023 Award Honorees are listed below. We hope that you will join us in thanking them for their dedication to creating a future free of limitations.
