Serves as a liaison between Admissions and the Office of Communications to inform, collaborate on, and coordinate marketing and material needs for admissions and recruitment. In collaboration with the Vice-President for Student Development, all Admissions staff, and campus stakeholders, develops strategies to attract and enroll a well-qualified, diverse enrollment for the SCGSAH. Manages the Financial Assistance Committee and coordinates the collection of Financial Assistance data from families. Represents the SCGSAH at events, conferences, and other relevant opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned.

WORK SCHEDULE: (8:30am-5pm), 37.5 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends and occasional travel is required.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:  A bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of admissions or enrollment management experience.  The successful candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (G Suite).  The successful candidate will have excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A masters degree and work experience in a boarding school, high school, or collegiate environment.  Previous experience in high school and arts admissions or student recruitment is preferred.  Experience with Finalsite Enrollment Management is preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of the basic principles and theories of admissions practices and educational administration. Knowledge of laws, policies and procedures affecting enrollment and retention. Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets. Ability to analyze data in order to identify, develop, and implement strategies and activities that will increase enrollment and benefit the school. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public. Ability to manage a team of admissions recruiters. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 35lbs on a regular basis.
