The Assembly Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the steady supply of materials and components needed for production. This role involves transporting of materials, following daily required tasks, by forklift or by manual lifting. Responsible for sheet inventory, based on production order and following safety procedures. Maintain a clean working environment and organize all raw materials daily.

* Supply assembly lines with raw materials, parts, and components to maintain steady production flow
* Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, manual lifting or hand trucks
* Maintain accurate inventory records
* Organize and store materials in designated areas for easy access and retrieval
* Assist in material staging, ensuring correct items are available for scheduled production runs
* Inspect incoming materials for quality and report any defects or damages
* Dispose of scrap materials and follow proper waste management procedures
* Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and proper material handling procedures
* Collaborate with assembly supervisors and production staff to ensure smooth operations
* Any other tasks assigned by the Assembly Supervisor/Inventory Manager
* Assist, as needed, in other areas of the manufacturing plant

*Provide a good working culture, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to stand, bend, twist and lift up to 50lbs for extended periods
* Ability to work in a warehouse environment with heavy machinery and materials for extended periods, with
exposure to hazardous substances

* High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
* Experience in material handling, inventory control or assembly environments
* Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification is a plus)
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
