SDA Scholarships - $38,750 Raised

Over $55,000 in scholarship support was requested

In April of 2024, we awarded $30,000 in scholarships to 12 exceptional students, recognizing their academic achievements, leadership qualities, and commitment to their communities.

More than $25,000 of scholarship assistance remains for students in need.

Since inception (next year will be our 15th anniversary!), we have worked to eliminate systemic barriers that have historically excluded marginalized communities from economic opportunity.

The Student DREAMers Alliance (SDA) continues to be a shining example of how we can integrate policy, advocacy, and leadership development to address systemic disparities and drive positive change. In May 2024, we graduated our seventh cohort of SDA from the program, which now has 196 fellowship members across South Carolina. Most of these alumni have graduated high school and are attending colleges or are entering the workforce. Their success is our shared success; a success for the future of the Palmetto State.

Despite these achievements, there is work to be done. This year alone, we received over $55,000 in scholarship requests from students eager to pursue higher education. While we were able to fund $30,000, a gap remains that we are determined to close.

To continue our mission of empowering Hispanic youth, we need your support. By donating to our Student DREAMers Alliance scholarship fund, you will help us provide the remaining $25,000 needed to support these deserving students.
