This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that the facilities and equipment of the Greenville County Detention Center are regularly maintained.
The primary duties of this position include the regular maintenance and repair of industrial laundry equipment, industrial kitchen equipment, facility locks, and other misc. equipment. May also be required to assemble furniture, order supplies, operate county vehicles and work with vendors on projects. Must be able to work in a correctional environment, as the primary work assignments are performed within the Detention Center.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Some vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical maintenance and repair
- Or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
- US Citizen
- No state or federal student loans in default
