Affinity Health Center is seeking a Security Associate for its Main Office location. This associate will be expected to provide a security presence at the entrance of the building and conduct periodic walk throughs. As a health organization that is dedicated to providing care with compassion, dignity, and respect, the Security Associate will also be required to appropriately and effectively support staff with de-escalating individuals or diffusing verbal and/or physical altercations in a manner that is calm, factual, objective, and courteous.
Lastly, the Security Associate will be expected to actively monitor security cameras and take immediate corrective action against hazardous conditions which may cause injury or damage in a manner that is consistent with training best practices.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
SLED Certification preferred.
3 years’ experience in security preferred.
Experience in de-escalation preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner required.
Valid Driver’s License preferred; reliable transportation required.
