Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience with State Agency or University procedures and policies. • Prior experience with university administration • Prior experience with supporting preprofessional, graduate, and/or medical students • Prior experience with supporting students from diverse backgrounds • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook and database management • Prior experience developing and/or administrating grant-funded projects Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds • Ability to work well under pressure and manage concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions; strong analytical thinking skills • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other software or database management systems as required, Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation software as required, and Microsoft Outlook. • Must use their discretion in organizing their work, and compiling confidential information and reports.
