Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer / CFO
- You will provide strategic leadership, direction, and management of SC Housing’s financial operations.
- You will ensure the financial integrity and soundness of the agency through proper oversight of accounting ledgers and reporting, housing debt, cash and investments, budgetary, compliance and other financial matters.
- You will manage the bonds and investments of agency funds in a fiscally prudent, responsible manner.
- You will maximize return on invested funds by identifying responsible investment opportunities while maintaining relationships with the investment community.
- You will serve as the primary liaison with the State Treasurer, financial advisor, financial and investment communities.
- You will develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities and maintain the continuity of the agency’s AAA rating.
- You will develop strategies for managing risk of financial operations in each department.
