The SSVC Bilingual Church Plant intern is a vital member of our church plant team and plays a key role in fostering a bilingual, missional, and multicultural church community that reflects the beauty of God’s diverse kingdom here in Sans Souci, Greenville, SC. This position is responsible for collaborating with SSVC leadership to craft intentional and humble bridges into the Hispanic community of Sans Souci and to assist us in developing our bilingual ministry. This position is much like that of a missionary and we need someone who is called to missional work and who is committed to pursuing Jesus at all costs. We know God is already stirring the heart of someone to come alongside the Kingdom work He is doing in our neighborhood. We can’t wait to meet you!

Essential Functions:
Weekly meetings with lead pastor, Rachael Mason.
Innovative collaboration with lead pastor and church plant team.
Collaborate with outreach coordinator on monthly outreach events and initiatives.
Become a Sans Souci community member; move into the neighborhood, get involved in community activities, and develop meaningful relationships with neighbors.
Gain part-time employment and/or fundraise to cover some living expenses.
Develop relationships and partnerships with Hispanic businesses and churches.
Assist with worship nights and Sunday gatherings, including translating announcements and materials.
Attend/participate in monthly bilingual worship nights and outreach events.
Facilitate Spanish speaking small group and/or Alpha group.
Make disciples.

Details:
Start date January 2026
1 year internship.
20-25 hours per week
Monthly stipend with possible housing assistance.
$1000 moving stipend.
Registration, travel, and lodging cost covered for Better Together Conference in Summer 2026.
Flexible time-off.

Demonstrates a clear call to ministry in one or more of the following areas: missions, church planting, teaching/preaching, pastoring, worship leading, leadership.
Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written).
A deep personal faith and commitment to Jesus’ great commission found in Matthew 28.
Proven leadership skills and experience.
Experience in multicultural ministry, community engagement, or cross-cultural outreach.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-starter with reliable time-management and organizational skills.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
