College looked like a blue ocean. Then it looked like Clemson.
Axel Espinoza found SDA at an event in the Carolina High School library. He applied, interviewed, and got in.
College felt like “a blue ocean,” he says, a complete unknown. No one in his family had gone. SDA’s guidance and financial help, and watching other students go through the process, made it feel possible.
Today Axel is a finance major at Clemson University, minoring in accounting with an emphasis in real estate. He is active in SHPE and Clemson’s Sales Innovation Program, and he already works as a licensed insurance broker. Next up: getting married, graduating, and growing his business and his team.
